নিরপেক্ষতা রক্ষার্থে চেক ফ্যাক্টের প্রতিটি প্রতিবেদন পরিচালনা ও তৈরির ক্ষেত্রে সকল সদস্যদের অবশ্যই একটি স্বচ্ছ এবং ব্যাখ্যামূলক পদ্ধতি অনুসরণ করতে হয়। চেক ফ্যাক্ট- এর কাজের পদ্ধতি এমনভাবে সাজানো হয়েছে, যেখানে কোন সদস্যের ব্যক্তিগত পক্ষপাতিত্ব বা একক সিদ্ধান্ত প্রদানের সুযোগ নেই। অর্থাৎ চেক ফ্যাক্টের কোন সদস্যই এককভাবে কোনো একটি প্রতিবেদনের তথ্যসংগ্রহ ও যাচাইয়ের দায়িত্ব পালন করেন না। সম্পূর্ণ দলগত কাজের ভিত্তিতে একটি প্রতিবেদনের শুরু থেকে শেষ কার্যপ্রণালী সম্পাদন করা হয়। তাছাড়া কোন রাজনৈতিক ও পক্ষসমর্থক সংস্থার সাথে চেক ফ্যাক্ট তার সদস্যগণের সক্রিয় সম্পৃক্ততাকে সম্পূর্ণভাবে নিরুত্সাহিত করে।
নিরপেক্ষতা নিশ্চিত করতে চেক ফ্যাক্ট-এর সদস্যদের নিম্নলিখিত শর্তাবলী মেনে চলা বাধ্যতামূলক করা হয়েছেঃ
- চেক ফ্যাক্ট-এর সদস্যগণ কোন রাজনৈতিক দলের পক্ষে প্রচারণা চালাতে পারবে না।
- চেক ফ্যাক্ট-এর সদস্যগণ অনুসন্ধানের স্বার্থে শুধুমাত্র তথ্য সংগ্রহ ব্যতীত কোন রাজনৈতিক দলের পক্ষে বা বিরুদ্ধে নিজে প্রতিবাদে অংশ নেওয়া বা কোন ব্যক্তিকে প্রতিবাদ করতে বাধ্য করতে পারবে না।
- রাজনৈতিক মতকে ধারণ করে এমন কোন প্রতীক বা পোশাক পরিধান থেকে চেক ফ্যাক্ট-এর সদস্যগণ বিরত থাকবে।
সদস্যদের নিরপেক্ষতা নীতি যেভাবে নিশ্চিত করা হয়ঃ
সদস্যদের নিরপেক্ষতা নীতি নিশ্চিত করতে সদস্য নিয়োগের পূর্বে তাদেরকে চেক ফ্যাক্ট-এর সকল নীতিমালা সম্পর্কে অবহিত করা হয়। একইসাথে সামাজিক যোগাযোগ মাধ্যমে তাদের ব্যাক্তিগত কার্যক্রম পর্যালোচনা করা হয়। তাছাড়া নিয়োগ পরবর্তী সময়ে নিয়োগপ্রাপ্ত সদস্যদের ফ্যাক্ট-চেক সম্পর্কিত সাধারণ জ্ঞান থেকে শুরু করে নিরপেক্ষতা নীতি ও স্বচ্ছতা সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত প্রশিক্ষণ দেয়া হয়।
In order to maintain impartiality, all members must follow a transparent and explanatory procedure in conducting and producing each report of Check Fact. Check Fact's working method is designed in such a way that no member gets any chance to exert personal bias or to give a single-handed decision. It implies that not any member of Check Fact is solely responsible for the verification of any report. A report from start to finish is processed and prepared on a complete teamwork-based method. Moreover, Check Fact totally discourages active involvement of its members with any political and partisan organization.
To ensure impartiality, members of Check Fact are mandated to adhere to the following terms and conditions:
- Members of Check Fact should never campaign for any political party.
- Members of Check Fact shall not participate in any protest or compel any person to protest for or against any political party except for the purpose of gathering information only for research.
- Members of Check Fact shall refrain from wearing any symbols or clothing that convey political views.

Prior recruitment, members are informed about all of Check Fact's policies to ensure their impartiality. Also, their personal activities are reviewed through social media. Moreover, after their appointment, they are given detailed training on the principles of impartiality and transparency, starting from general knowledge of fact-checking.
